Feature Roll-Out

  • QBO Syncing & Integration Tools
    • (Done 7/5/19) Export QBO Supporting Lists (to make it easier to do manual data conversions into OS).
    • Add a button to run a QBO Comparison of Invoices, Credit Memo’s, Purchase Orders, and Inventory for selected Date Range.
  • Bundles (Assemblies)
    • Make them work all as 1 type that has the capability to be pre-assembled, assembled on the fly (after receiving a prompt) and/or Edited and Assembled on the fly if the OPTION is turned on to PROMPT the user to Edit the item.
      • 1 system wide option: [   ] When Bundle item is placed on Sales transaction prompt user if want to Edit the components of the Bundle.
      • Option on each Bundle item: [   ] Prompt to Edit when Bundle is placed on Sales transaction.
  • Multi-Warehouse Features
    • Transfer Items
    • Prompt to sell from multiple warehouses.
  • Auto PO’s
    • Simplify: Rather than 4 types, there will be 1 type that has various settings
      • In ‘filter’ section have a checkbox called ‘Show only items to be ‘Special Ordered’
      • In ‘filter’ section have a checkbox called ‘When items are NOT on the suggested PO, also show items to be ordered using Min/Max values, (if added to system on or after: (date filed).’
  • Vendor Price Imports & Updates
    • Add more options on the Item List (import wizard screen).

Data Center Roll-Out

  • X–Order 5 Servers ($1,400 ea) Dell PowerEdge R620, 10slots for Hard Drives, XEON E5-2667 / 32 Total Cores, 256GB RAM, 2-SSD Drives (RAID1), PercH310, IDrac7 Express, Rails)
  • For each server:
    • Setup RAID 1
    • Install Windows 2019
    • Install Hyper-V
    • Create 2 VMS
      • Web Server
      • SQL Server
  • Data Center:
    • 2nd / redundant Leg of Power.
    • Power Distribution Unit (PDU): Buy, install.
    • Routers: Configure and duplicate settings for both. Install in Data Center.
    • Switches: Stack and then Install in Data Center.
    • Create a script to Copy new Versions to all servers.
    • Setup backup systems:
      • Replication every 5 minutes.
      • Backups of Replications.
      • Historical Backups

      • MUST HAVE – LAST MINUTE – ALL YOU NEED TO RESTORE daily backups on detachable SSD drives…
    • Start putting customers on 3 of the servers.
  • Legacy Servers
    • Remove Server .108 and .110
    • Setup KBA system on .114 Server, then remove .112 server.
  • Setup osoMaster database on AWS Server.
    • Make Backup Images of AWS Server. Ready for immediate replication.
  • Find LOCAL / SLC Network Admin (that can do Tech Support and Network Admin)
